Hello, again Blog World!

Hello, again. I decided to take a long break from blogging but now I'm back! I'm not going to get to crazy and try to post daily, but I will try to post regularly. So how is everyone? What's new? What's new with me you ask? Well, this is what has been taking up most of my time...

Gage was born on December 24. He arrived a little early and messed up all of our Christmas plans but he was well worth it. He will be 6 months tomorrow. I can not believe how fast time goes. 

So I plan on updating you with all things midwest modern girl (my stationery and invitation business), new mom adventures, home remodels (yes, we're still working on the house) and of course, all things lovely that catch my eye.

I just LOVE this print by jenn.kirk found on flickr today. 

I have been battling a virus for the last few days and haven't felt up to doing anything. Brad worked on the bathroom for awhile today. It is taking a lot more time than I had expected to complete - but we are wanting to do it right. We also hadn't planned on gutting it all the way down to the studs, but it definitely needed to be. I will update you later on this week with some pics!

Brad and I are not getting each other Valentine's gifts this year, because we are on a very tight budget right now. But above are a few things that I am wishing for...maybe someday.

Today is my 25th Birthday! Half way to 30...that is crazy. I'm just spending the day being lazy and catching up on blogs. Hopefully the hubs will get home early and he can wine and dine me. 

Here are my goals/resolutions for my 25th year:

1. Eat & live healthier

2. Be patient & kind

3. Remodel the house

4. Build my business

5. Take more photographs

6. Pray more

7. Spend more time with family & friends

New restaurant

Julian is a new restaurant located in Kansas City, and I cannot wait to make a trip there! It is located in Brookside and sounds delicious. And it is a collaborative project between Nathaniel Cooper, Brent Anderson and Jordan Gray (some of my favorite designers!).
