Like most of you, I could look at beautiful typography and calligraphy all day. Jenna Hein is no exception to this rule. Her work is stunning and so lovely.
This past weekend I threw a baby shower for my SIL. She is expecting their first child in March. I also will become an aunt - so that is very exciting! I designed the invitation, blocks for the tables and a small booklet for all the guests that included all the games we would play. My mom baked 3 batches of delicious cupcakes for the shower. I think that it turned out really well and it was a lot of fun to plan for her.
I discovered Pedro Mari's work via design dust. I was instantly drawn to this first set of his work. The movement of the line, the overlapping of colors, works so beautifully together.
While perusing his flickr a little more, I found his most recent set titled Broken Circles and Color. I like the repetition and abstract circles. So lovely.
I somehow stumbled upon the lovely flickr images of three little birds photography. Mindy J's photostream is breathtaking. I quickly got lost in each of her photographs - the lighting is so nice in many of them.
