Today's flickr friday spotlight is me :). We went to a flea market & carnival last weekend and I wanted to share some of my pictures. We didn't ride any of the fun rides, but we did eat some really good cajun fried pickles and a funnel cake. Yum! My snowcone was huge, but not any good. At the flea market, I got some cheap books and Brad bought a golf club...for some reason. Check out my flickr for more.
I have many color loves, but chartreuse was my first love. I am wanting both of these lovely chartreuse finds so badly!
This is where Brad has been on his last trip for work: Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He really loved it there and is hating the heat wave we are having here in Kansas right now.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Life has just gotten in the way a little lately. We had a horrible hail storm about a week and a half ago. Luckily, my mom was here with me (Brad was still in Colorado) and also we were in a nearby town eating dinner...so we completely missed it. The neighbors said that it sounded like bombs were dropping because the hail was as big as baseballs and from all the breaking of windows.
I have been gathering lots of ideas for our home in the storage and organization department. I keep going back to these pictures by Martha, of course. Where do you get ideas to keep you home organized?
Here are our moving announcements that I designed. I wanted something simple and sweet that I could get out quickly. I did 2 versions, 1 with blue ink and orange envelopes and 1 with orange ink and blue envelopes. Of course, as soon as they were all done I had more ideas pop into my head of how to do them...but oh well.
