The Paws & Claus craft show was a really great learning experience for me. I think that I was well prepared and that my booth was simple, yet still functional and represented my product well.
In the morning there was a steady stream of people, but in the afternoon the place really slowed down. I still feel really great about the overall experience because (1) the money I paid for the booth was put toward the Animal Shelter and (2) I met a lot of sweet people and made some good connections.
Like the girls that are dirty laundry and fresh sodapop. They were both really nice and offered lots of words of wisdom since they are old-pros of the KC craft scene.
I am participating in a local craft show tomorrow! I am equally parts excited and nervous. I have never done anything like this before, so I am hoping that I am well prepared and have enough things. I have been printing/cutting/folding/packaging all week (with a big help from my mom), so I am ready for tomorrow to get here already. The show is from 9 am to 6 pm in the Tuileries Plaza (Parkville) if you are in the KC area. Come say hi and check out all the great artists and events they have planned.
