So it's been a long time since I blogged. Um, like 2 years. How did that happen?

Well they are part of the reason. We now have 2 amazing, funny, high-energy little boys. Gage was born December 2010 and Owen last July 2012. Needless to say, they take up 98% of my time and energy and they are totally worth it.
We also switched jobs and moved back to where we grew up. It's funny how things work out. Two years ago when I made my last blog post (about Gage's arrival) moving back home was NO WHERE on my radar. But we're here and loving (mostly) every minute of it. Having family within walking distance is something that can be taken for granted so easily. And we have so much more time now for old and new friends.

Brad and I and the boys.
We have had a very full, busy summer and have managed to knock off most of our Summer 2013 Bucket List. Fireworks, swimming, Gage's first movie (Monster's University), 5k Color run, vacation (Brad and I went to Canada - alone), fishing, birthday parties, swim lessons, popsicles, picnics, smores, family pictures and movie night. Hopefully we can cross off a few more things in these next few weeks.
Summer has been great but I am so looking to fall. It's my FAVORITE. Colder temps, football, crockpot meals, leaves turning colors, pumpkin spiced lattes; everything about it is great. I do always hate seeing my tan fade away though.

I have been fortunate enough to stay home with the boys since we moved back. I am still designing and running my own business - midwest modern girl - custom stationery and design. Thankfully it has been growing and thriving since we made the change for me to stay home. I am able to work on customer orders and new work during nap time, at night and the occasional parking them in front of the tv so I can have 20 minutes to myself. That is what has motivated me (and posting adorble pics of my boys) to restart this blog. Lots of exciting things are in the works for my business and me. And hopefully by blogging I can grow my online presence and keep me going. So here we go....
